Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP Service Management (SM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Service Management functionalities and be able to support the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Service Management modules to enhance business processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions within SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP Service Management Configuration: Design, configure, and implement the SAP Service Management (SM) module, ensuring alignment with business processes related to service orders, service contracts, and service billing.
  • End-to-End Support: Provide functional expertise and guidance on SAP Service Management functionality, including Service Request Management, Service Order Processing, Service Confirmation, Warranty Management, and Service Billing.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Propose and implement best practices to optimize service management workflows.
  • Integration with Other Modules: Collaborate with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, MM, PM, and CS) for seamless integration and ensure data consistency across modules.
  • User Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users to enhance SAP adoption and efficiency. Provide ongoing support to users for incident resolution and process queries.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in the testing of new functionalities, system upgrades, and patches. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SAP SM functionalities.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, solutions, and processes within SAP Service Management.
  • Project Management: Participate in SAP implementation or upgrade projects, providing functional expertise, contributing to project planning, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Key Skills :

  • SAP SM Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in the SAP Service Management module (Service Orders, Service Contracts, Service Processing, Billing, etc.).
  • Business Process Understanding: Deep understanding of service management business processes and how they are implemented in SAP.
  • Configuration Skills: Experience in configuring SAP SM, including service order types, service contracts, warranty management, and related processes.
  • Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with integration points between SAP SM and other modules (e.g., SAP SD, MM, PM) and external systems.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in SAP SM.
  • Project Experience: Experience in SAP implementation, upgrades, or support projects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Certifications: SAP SM certification is a plus, though not always required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
